French Striking Carriage Clock In Gilded Case
This is a beautiful example of an early 1900s striking carriage clock manufactured in France.
The movement is 8 days, striking the hour and the half-hour on a spiral gong.
The case is beautifully designed in Greek architecture, accompanied by four spiralled Corinthian columns.
The enamel dial, with Arabic numerals, is surrounded by a gilded brass mask.
