Art Deco 1930's German Mantel Clock With 8 Day Movement By Heinrich Moller
This is an exquisite 1930 art deco mantel clock, designed by the German artist Heinrich Moller.
This clock possess an 8 day movement made by Kienzie.
The brass silvered case with an Alexandrite glass (which changes colour when its exposed to certain lights) makes it look beautiful against many different backdrops. The hands represent the sun, the moon and earth surrounded by stars replacing the traditional chaptering.
The clock itself is in exceptional working order, the case is retaining most of the original silvering, however there is a small crack on the blue glass (pictures can be provided also see link to selling antiques ) but you can not notice this from the front. The front glass (thick crystal glass) has a few scratches due to the age of the clock.
